ハリネズミ-hedgehog- (引きで数える器シリーズ）

私が生き物をモチーフに日々制作しています。
その中の一つである「引きで数える器」シリーズがあります。生き物をモチーフにした金属の器に、苔を植えることで完成する苔器です。
手のひらに収まるサイズで、どの角度から見てもとても愛らしい姿をしています。
苔の世話は手がかかりますがその分愛着が大いに持てるはずです！
制作方法は、高岡市の伝統産業である鋳物（ロストワックス鋳造）により一つ一つ丁寧に作られています。

「ハリネズミ-hedgehog-」
青銅製のハリネズミの器です。
フサフサのアラハシラガゴケを背負い、華奢な足で立つその姿はとても愛くるしく、見るものを癒してくれます。
この作品は紫陽花を眺めていたときに、丸い花の下からハリネズミの頭が出てきたような錯覚を見たことから生まれました。たまに花を生けたりして楽しんでいただいてもいいと思います。
親サイズ：縦66×横122×高さ80mm
子サイズ：縦40×横80×高さ60mm

“Creatures” are subject matter of my work, and there is a series called “Hiki de kazoeu Utsuwa”.
It is a series of vessel and each vessel completes its figure by planting moss. These works are palm size and their appearance are very pretty from any angle.
Looking after moss needs lots of care, although you will have a strong emotional attachment to the moss!!
They were cast by “lost wax” method which is used in this traditional craft industry city, Takaoka, and each of them are made very carefully.
“Hedgehog”
It is a bronze vessel decorated with a hedgehog.
It holds “Leucobryum bowringii” on it’s back, and standing with delicate feet. It looks so pretty and it gives viewers calm feeling.
I made this work from my illusion experience. When I was looking a hydrangea. It seemed as if a head of hedgehog popped out from under the hydrangea.
I suggest you to arrange some flowers instead of moss sometimes.
